Brand Guidelines

The Call Stream
design language.

How we show up everywhere — the website, the product, the collateral. Restrained, engineered, and unmistakably ours.

01

Design principles.

Four rules that govern every decision. When in doubt, return here.

01
Restraint over decoration
True black, generous space, one accent. We earn attention with hierarchy and typography — never gradients, glows, or ornament. If an element doesn't carry meaning, it comes out.
02
Pink is a punctuation mark, not a paragraph
The magenta is our signature — used as a single, deliberate highlight. One pink moment per view: a key word, a CTA, an active state. Never a wash.
03
Say it once, say it well
Every stat, claim, and value proposition appears once per surface. Repetition reads as insecurity. Confidence is stating something a single time and moving on.
04
Engineered, not decorated
Tight 8px radii, monospace labels, hairline borders, precise alignment. The aesthetic of infrastructure — we look like the reliable system we are.
02

The logo.

A caller — the dot — resolving into three receding waves: transcription, intent, action. Geometric enough for an app icon, warm enough to read as hospitality.

Call Stream mark
  • The dot is the caller — a single inbound voice.
  • Three arcs fan out at descending opacity (100 / 70 / 44%) — the signal cascading into channels.
  • Always rounded line caps. The mark is built on a 64-unit grid with 3.5-weight strokes.
  • Minimum clear space equals the height of the dot on all sides. Never crowd it.

Color.

A near-monochrome system on true black, with a single saturated accent. Neutrals do the work; pink makes the point.

06

Voice & tone.

We sound like a confident operator who happens to build software — precise, warm, never hyped.

Confident, not loud

State the fact and stop. "Answered in under 500ms." No "revolutionary," no "game-changing," no exclamation marks.

Hospitality-fluent

We speak the industry's language — turndown, six-top, Forbes Five-Star. Specific beats generic, always.

Plain over clever

Short sentences. Real nouns. If a sentence needs a second read, it gets cut. Clarity is the brand.

07

Do & don't.

Do
  • Default to true black with one pink accent per view
  • Use Inter for everything human, JetBrains Mono for labels
  • Keep radii tight (8px) and borders hairline
  • Let whitespace carry the composition
  • State each stat and claim exactly once
Don't
  • Wash surfaces in pink or use pink gradients
  • Introduce serifs, display fonts, or third typefaces
  • Add glows, drop shadows, or decorative gradients
  • Repeat the same stat three times on one page
  • Use pure white (#FFF) or large rounded corners
